Shendandoah Country Club

This prominent country club facility anchors a renowned championship golf course and offers many residential attributes including low-sloped roofs, dramatic roof overhangs, and scale-referencing elements like piers, columns, and pergolas. The exterior works effortlessly with the complex grades of the site and boldly captures the open prairie qualities of the site with an architecture that is dramatic yet understated. Recognizing that the Chaldean community has its origins in the epoch of Babylon, we crafted the interiors with colorful cobalt tile mosaics, patterned plaster reliefs, and gold leaf-clad walls—all natural materials composed in a disciplined manner and with traditional Old World patterns and details.
