With the addition of a pool, pool house, clay tennis court, and gardens, this southeastern Michigan residence was transformed from a single dwelling into a campus setting. The design challenge was to create a year-round pool house that was comfortable for living and also encouraged entertaining and recreation.

The indoor and outdoor kitchens, dining room, and living room have folding glass walls that open to the pool, making the pool house a perfect place for entertaining in the summer; amenities such as the bedroom, full bathroom, fireplace, and garage allow it to function as a year-round dwelling.
